Greetings! Welcome to The St. Louis Center for the Alexander Technique, SLAT. SLAT is a one woman operation run by Katherine Mitchell. Katherine has taught the Alexander Technique full-time for the past seventeen years.

SLAT offers private lessons in the Alexander Technique, as well as introductory workshops and lecture demonstrations for organizations, conventions, or small groups.

In addition, SLAT offers a three-year Alexander Technique teacher-training program. Graduates of the teacher-training program will be certified to teach Alexander Technique. SLAT is certified by the American Society of the Alexander Technique, AmSAT.

SLAT is accepting applications for teacher trainees. New trainees join the course in January or September. Private lessons and introductory workshops are available year round. Inquiries welcome.
