The Alexander Technique is a unique mind/body method that penetrates to the heart of movement. It shows us how to UNDO habitual patterns of tension, which interfere with our body's inherent design. It is a powerful tool that can be used in anything we do, whether we are practicing yoga asana, singing, acting or performing everyday activities. In all these activities we have the opportunity to deepen the quality of our attention, develop the ability to notice and to make CONSCIOUS CHOICES about HOW we move. We are designed for movement, and when we move in harmony with our body's natural design we experience ease, fluidity and grace. When our energy flows, we can easily direct it into creative pathways that enhance our wellbeing and allow us to function at our highest potential.
