Welcome to the Listening Hands, Healing Heart website for Lol Kane : registered Craniosacral Therapist

Helping Life Come Into Balance

In cranial work we listen through our hands to what is being communicated to us by the whole of the person we are in therapeutic relationship with. Part of what is being expressed is the story of that person’s body and what it holds within. This is communicated through the language of the body : the motion patterns of the tissues, the tide-like expressions and fluctuations of the fluid body, and the expressions of what we call “potency”, the agency whereby inertial patterns within the body are resolved and actual healing is effected.

We are so much more than our physical bodies, though. Our hands are connected energetically to the heart, not so much to the physical organ but deeper still, to the heart or core of our being. It is as if our hands are an extension of that deeper heart. If in cranial work it can be said we listen from an inner, neutral place, with our senses in balance, then the more deeply we listen from within the more we listen from the heart. At the deepest level we listen from a place of intrinsic stillness, of equanimity, of suchness, where compassion without attachment is naturally present.

It has been said that healing takes place when we are heard, and the more deeply we are heard the more deeply we are healed. What can be heard from such a depth of listening? Everything can! Everything that needs to be heard to make us whole.

    Fee Structure

My fee structure, as regards both my standard fee and my standard concessionary fee, conforms to accepted local rates. However, even the standard concessionary fee can still be out of reach for some and in order to address this I have adopted a 'sliding scale' policy for structuring fees - all it takes to arrive at a mutually acceptable level of fee is a chat.

For further details call me on: 01364 644615 or 07929 769060

    Cancellation of appointment policy

This conforms to standard practice. At least 24 hours notice of an appointment being cancelled is required for any fee to be waived.
Less than 24 hours notice given requires half the fee to be paid.
No notice given at all requires the full fee to be paid.
Genuine mitigating circumstances are always accepted.
