Home remedy for Diarrhea, pain . This seed is much esteemed in some parts of India as an article of food;. but it has heating properties and when taken as the sole food it is apt to produce diarrhea. It acts as a diuretic and astringent and is of use externally in rheumatism. It is a popular domestic remedy for alleviating the pains of parturition.
