Herbal Cure for Leucorrhoea, Dropsy the leaves and berries of which are reputed to be astringent, stomachic, aromatic, stimulant and narcotic. A decoction of the leaves is used in leucorrhoea, diseases of the urinary organs and dropsy. It is also a powerful emmenagogue. The oil expressed from the seeds after boiling them in water, is used locally to relieve rheumatic pains.
